ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Midwest Poetry Mash-Up is a small (10 team max) team slam poetry tournament. With the (likely permanent) closure of CUPSI and the longer-than-expected hiatus of many regional competitions, we wanted to create a space where college students and regional poets could compete and have a good ole’ tournament in this art form that we love.
When: Friday, April 25th- Saturday, April 26th, 2025
Where: Center for Open Book (1011 Washington Ave S. Minneapolis, Minnesota 55415)
Details:

2 prelim bouts per team with Saturday evening finals

$150 fee per team registration fee
-
Cash prize of $300 for the winning team
